The Late Mrs. A. M. Beckett It is with deep regret that we have to record the death of Mrs. Ann Maria Beckett, of Calvert Cottages, Steeple Clavdon, who died on July iHth at the age 71. It is only just over five months since her husband passed away. She was of a quiet and homely disposition and was ever-ready to do her part in helpful ways. She was life-long member of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Beckett leaves a married daughter to mourn her loss. The funeral place at’ Steeple Claydon on Saturday. The Rev. R. Gladstone Griffiths officiated. special request her favourite hymn Abide with me and her husband s favourite hymn Lead kindly light were sung. The family mourners were : Mr. and Mrs. S. Percival (son-in-law and daughter), Mrs. J. Whiting (sister), Miss Drew (friend). Mrs. Russell and Mrs. F. Whiting (nieces), Mrs. Rawlings and Mr. T. I Beckett (sister-in-law and nephew), Mrs. B. Jennings and Mrs. Bert Gregory! (nieces), Mrs. C. Beckett and Mrs. Gregory (sister-in-law and friend). Mrs. K. Rogers and Mrs. F. Rogers (friends), Mr. K. Gregory, Miss K. Gregory and Miss Kirby (friends). Among the many friends and sympathisers present were noticed Mrs. F. Ingram. Mrs. W. Hodges, Mrs. Moss, Miss Webb, Mrs. D. Harries.
