Adstock, Charndon, Chetwode, Hast and Botolph Claydon, Edgcott, Hillesden, Marsh Gibbon. Middle Claydon. I’adbury, Poundon, Preston Bissett. Steeple Claydon, Twyford.

Victory for Allan Shaw IN COUNTY COUNCIL BY-ELECTION Alter a keen contest, Mr. Allan (Ind.) was declared elected l>y majority of 167 on Saturday in tli’e County Council by-election for Buckingham Rural South. His Labour opponent was Mr. Thomas Mitchinson, also of Steeple Claydon. Prerioua Defeat By Fite Vote* The election was caused by the retirement of Mrs. Fells (Lsib.), Water Stratford, who had previously defeated him by five votes two years ago. He had served on the Bucks County Council for years The result, which was declared lata on Saturday night outside Steeple Claydoo School, was as follows: Shaw.
