The very pretty and interesting wedding look place on Saturday of Miss Kdna Ooodwin. youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. It. Ooodwin. Steeple Claydon, and Mr. Kenneth rhnrity, of Oranthain. I’he Hev. Oladstone OriOith oflicialed. The hride was given away her father and wore a dress of while do«|ue, with orange blossom head-dress and veil. She carried a of apricot tinted carnations ami was attended her sister. Mrs. Britten, who wore apricot crejie de chine, with hat to match, and carried a bompiet of cream roses, and Miss Owynefh Akins tfriend of the hride) wearing green crepe de chine with hat to match. Master fieoffrey Britten (nephew) was page of honour, wearing a green blouse and brown trousers. Both carried Bibles. The best man was Mr. W. J. Britten (bride’s brother-in-law). The bridegroom employed at Perkins’s Diesel Engineers and the bride as a .secretary with the British Sugar Corporation. Both lived Peterliorougli. Both the bride and bridegroom received numerous presents. The bride received 8-day chiming clock from her employers and the bridegroom a canteen of enllerv from his firm.
