THE LATE MR. W. GRACE We regret to announce the death at the Radcliffe and County Hospital, Oxford, of Mr. Walter Grace, of Steeple Clay don, who passed away on Thursday. Dec. 12th, at the age of 58 years, after a prolonged and painful illness. The late Mr. Grace was much respected in the district, especially by his fewllow employees at Calvert, where he was employed as a signalman for over thirty years by the L. and N. E. Rly. Co. Much sympathy has been extended to his family in their sad loss. Mr. Grace leaves one son, Mr. James Grace, also two sisters and three brothers to mourn their loss. The funeral took place on Monday, at St. Michael’s Church, Steeple Claydon, the Rev. G. F. C. Dobson, Vicar of Steeple Claydon, conducting the burial service, at which the 23rd Psalm was chanted and the deceased’s favourite hymn ” Fight the good fight,” was sung. Near relatives who were mourners at the Graveside, were Mr. Jas. Grace (Son), Miss E. Grace and Mrs. East (sisters), Mr. Charles Grace and Mr. Dan Grace (brothers), Mr. E. East (brother-inlaw), Mr. and Mrs. Simmons (brother-in-law and sister-in-law), Miss E. Simmons (niece). Friends who attended the funeral were Mr. T. W. Sear. Mr. T. Stevens, Mrs. R. Coleman, Mr. H. Hill, Mr. rench (station-master, Calvert), Mr. J. Morris, Mr. and Mrs. W. Hodges, Mr. R. James (Padbury), Miss Hobbs, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Beckett, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Mrs. W. Quainton, Mr. and Mrs. D.
