Why I became a Volunteer: Marcy

MARCY

I live in the village. After school on a Friday I work in the Library as a Junior Voluntary. Working in the Library has given me confidence in meeting and talking to people. I help with the tidying up of the returning books and the movement of displays. The Librarian and other volunteers are great to get on with we talk and laugh  together as a team. I have applied to do my Duke of Edinburgh’s  bronze award this year. Working in the Library has given me the confidence to achieve this.
