Why I became a Volunteer: Zarah

ZARAH

I live with my parents in a village 2 miles away from Steeple Claydon. When my mum was visiting a relative in Steeple Claydon we both saw the Library and went in there just to have a look around. We were made to feel very welcome and it felt very comfortable and well organized. We came back on several occasions not just to borrow books but to do the puzzle challenge and talk. I was asked by the Librarian if I wanted to become a junior voluntary because on every occasion I visited I ended up tidying the children’s books. I had made this my own personal task. I agreed and now I visit the Library with my mum as a junior voluntary and wear my name badge with pride.
