Mrss Florence Nightingale and the Volunteers
Miss Florence Nightingale has written to Sir Harry Yemey, Bart., M.P., her brother-in-law, intimating that it is her intention next season to present the 3rd Bucks (Buckingham and Winslow) Volunteer Rifle Corps with a piece of plate, to competed for upon such terms as they may arrange. Lady Vcrney, anxious to manifest her interest in the Volunteer movement, has also determined to offer a silver cup annually to be shot for by members of the same corps.
